Prespa Forum Dialogue

For our client, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we created complete branding for their regional, multinational event called 'Prespa Forum Dialogue'.

Due to short deadlines, the design phase was divided into two phases: (1) design of a logo that could be immediately shown to the public by Minister Bujar Osmani and (2) more detailed branding creating several different brand elements that could be used for accompanying promotion and arrangement of the space where the event took place.

About PFD

The Republic of North Macedonia, with the signing of the Prespa Agreement, the Treaty of Friendship, Good-Neighborliness and Cooperation with Bulgaria, as well as the Ohrid Framework Agreement, represents a unique example of a state that offered concrete solutions and showed a creative approach, both regarding open bilateral issues with neighbors and regarding its internal arrangement.

The main goal of the Prespa Forum Dialogue (PFD) is to promote itself as a platform and place for formal and informal meetings of political leaders, prominent and distinguished individuals from the academic, business, and media environments, civil society representatives with a focus on youth organizations, etc., from the South-East Europe region and the wider international community, where current issues of regional and global nature will be discussed, opinions, experiences, and ideas will be exchanged, and solutions will be offered.

Basic logo

The emblem of the Prespa Forum Dialogue consists of two parts: a symbol (left) and text (right).

The symbol is a square with a yellow color, inspired by the flag of the Republic of North Macedonia, mixed with the color of the stars of the European Union flag, symbolizing our strategic goal to become part of the EU.

Inside the square is an arrow oriented upwards and to the right, in dark blue color, which is a mixture of the colors of the MFA, the NATO flag, and the dark blue color of the EU flag. The orientation of the arrow symbolizes North Macedonia's aspiration to always move forward and upward – constant progress.

In the textual part, the words 'Prespa Forum Dialogue' are written, translated into Macedonian, Albanian, and English, depicting the multicultural nature of the state.

Together, the parts build a unique logo that is quick and simple to remember, modern in its design and aesthetics, and easy to fit on any surface.
